A brief intro to the Region

The West Pacific was one of the original admin created regions when NationStates started way back when. It is like the other Pacific’s, in the fact that nations get created in our region and then decide to stay like you or move off into the NS world. Throughout the years TWP has grown to be one of if not the most important regions in the game in regards to activity and influence. During that time, there have been coups, invasions, constitutions, rebellions, ejections, kings, queens, presidents, prime ministers, directors, ministers and even Tweedy.

Today we are on our 4th Constitution which allows the greatest ability to participate for new nation to participate in the region than any other point in the West Pacific’s history.

Useful NationStates Lingo

NS = NationStates
TWP/WP = The West Pacific
Onsite = anything relating to the Nationstates.net site
Offsite = anything relating to the twp.nosync.org site
TG = Telegram (the method of private communication onsite)
PM = Private Message (the method of private communication offsite)
Ejection = the act of removing a nation from TWP
CTE = a nation has ceases to exist because of inactivity
WA = World Assembly (the onsite facility to suggest and vote upon resolutions that affect every nation in the game)
