Many people have voiced a concern that there is nothing but tripe coming out of the UN recently (or as some would sat since word dot). Well it is time to change that, This region will write a great proposal and help bring back credability to the institution.

This will be a five stage process

Firstly people will nominate which issue they would like for this resolution to cover

Secondly we the people will vote for the best issue

Thirdly a committee will be formed and the resolution will be written

Fourthly a final vote will be held to see it the region wishes to present it

Fifthly The resolution will be submitted and the Foreign ministry will help get delegate to support it so it come to a vote.

I feel this will be a great way to promote the region in the NS world and finally get some decent legislation through the UN.

Is it the plan to have nations post nominations/proposals in this thread, or elsewhere? I have a very slight preference for a separate thread for proposing resolutions (either just a one-line idea, or a draft of a resolution), leaving this as the overall thread for observations on the project/process.

Or we can just get into it right here, both are good.

The original idea (if I interpret Biteland's initial post here correctly) was to provide an arena for the creation of our own proposal ideas that we (or someone) would then take to the WA for formal presentation. If it met muster in the WA, the proposal would (effectively) have the full support of the TWP delegate and a springboard in the full game world.

If you like, Realm, it would be simple to create a "WA Proposal Think Tank" area for members (and guests???) to begin drafting proposals.

TAO, I don't want to mess with forum structure ... many say it's too complex already, but that's just rumor; I think Bite owns this, so I'd say it's his call.

I was wondering if we should post proposals/nominations here or in a separate thread, and I thought a separate thread might be cleaner, that's all. I've got an idea for one, very mundane, but I can be patient, heh!
