I am re-opening your membership thread; you must post your return to the RA there (after which it will be locked again.) Welcome back. |

Before I forget -- Varlaam notified me by PM that he would be on vacation for approximately three weeks; there's no "inactivity" clause yet, of course ... but still ... |

I wish this thread existed last week. :( Anyway, sorry for missing all the votes. I was at the beach with friends for a week. |

I've been welcomed? I think I came here a few days ago, but am still enlisted under member. Am I missing some requirement? |

The Speaker doesn't actually do the masking (rights) to the forum or the badge change. I know that TAO is aware of your being a member -- he voted for you as a Juror, I recall. Perhaps another Admin can help? Note: Two posts moved (from Whiteboard to this thread) as Inquiry. This post has been edited by The Realm of The Realm on Jun 8 2009, 04:36 PM |

I do not think there is another thread for RA members to notify absences, so here goes. I will be out of the country and without internet access from late Sunday 14th June to Saturday 20th June. |

Mr Speaker, may i ask of you (i may know the answer, but there is nothing wrong with reassuring what it means) why you've put on certain threads 100% beside the Aye title, in which one morning without any votes, there it was. Typo i presume or just the ageing? :P For some yes, with the aye votes cast, i can understand that 100% means no opposition to split the number, but considering there is one abstain.... Meh these percentages confuse me sometimes. |

The ABSTAIN alternative is tallied (counted -- toward quorum) .. but by virtue of it's own nature, the member who submits a ballot marked "ABSTAIN" does not affect the percentage of AYE and NAY votes. If there are fifteen ballots, of which 10 are AYE and 5 are ABSTAIN ... the AYES will be 100% (relative to the NAYS.) My apologies for listing a percentage next to the ABSTAIN category when the thread was originally created ... my error, now corrected. If there was a percentage (100% or other) next to a category before any ballots were cast, then that, too, was an error. I was not aware of that particular error, and will endeavor to avoid such in future. My thanks. |

No problem, you'll need to help me grasp that system sometime, because i think it needs refreshing in my mind. I've learnt it before, then it seems to have disappeared with one of my very much needed brain cells <_< |
