One of the duties of the Ministry of Communication is maintaining control of our RMB. Historically, this was done through the TWP CommRangers. With Bite's permission, TAO would like to revitalize the TWP CommRangers as coworkers of the Ministry of Communication to police and control the RMB for our own regional purposes. New growth for the region and this forum will occur IF we keep an ACTIVE and PRO-REGIONAL presence on the RMB. ANYONE ... EVERYONE is invited to be a TWP CommRanger. In fact, the more the merrier. There are several retired Rangers around here whose return and reactivation would be greatly appreciated. Be a COMMRANGER and help make the region and the Forum a BETTER place to be. If you wish to be a CommRanger, make a simple declaration of intent. TAO wishes to be a CommRanger. (IMG:http://members.optusnet.com.au/~brian1985/Images/d.jpg) |

So, playing the "zomg, I'm so clueless and new!" card, what does this entail? Merely being active on the RMB? Or RMB Activity With Intent? Please advise! I may as well use my vast tracts of boredom for useful things, ne? |

For now ... just being active on the RMB, preferably in tandem with other CommRangers, with the express purpose of never allowing AdSpam to sit for more than two hours. In fact, the less time it is seen, the better. Having a dedicated Team on the RMB goes a long way in demonstrating to region mates that we have a Community and that interaction in the Community is a good thing. |

Is this thread the only listing of who said CommRangers are? Is there a more appropriate thread or forum for maintaining a list of who one is working in cahoots with? I have a pretty questionable memory, so, lists are Good Things. |

Being a CommRanger is one of the most valuable and most satisfying "jobs" in The West Pacific. Those who have served as CommRangers in the past have developed a strong camaraderie with one another and a real sense of purpose and devotion for TWP. If I were asked, "What is the most important and most valuable "job" a player can have in TWP?" ... without hesitation, I would answer CommRanger. |

The NEW TWP AdSpam GUIDELINES are now published and posted and BADspammers are beginning to receive TG notices/warnings. All contacts with BADspammers regarding the GUIDELINES are being posted in the GWA section of this forum. The RMB side of NationStates is the best place to be active (outside this forum) and everyone is invited to engage in Community building actions on the RMB that lead to the beautification of the region. It is a DAILY and/or REGULAR commitment that we are looking for in our CommRangers. If you want to help ... let us know by being there. |
